The Beginning of Christmas Nails!

 

Below are my sisters new nails! She actually chose a couple of her own nailpolishes to use for these nails. I used Amore Primary White, a bit of Go Green and some Red Glitter as well :)

 

This is a new client! She asked for the dangle Jingle Bells, I love them!

 



 

These next pictures are my first set of Christmas Nails, the pictures are always a little worse quality, it's hard to hold the camera with one hand to take pictures of the other!

 

 

This Hand is all glitter and snowflakes!

 

On this hand: The Pinky is Rudolph, done with brow flocking powder; the Ring finger is all red Flocking Powder (wanted to see how long it would last, which was  about two days, now it's a green present with pink striping tape); the Middle finger is a snow man!; my Index finger is red on red, trying out my new gold nail decals; and my Thumb (my favourite), I cut up red and green gift wrap, and embedded it into the gel! The picture just doesn't do them justice :(

I saw some similar nails to this on pinteret (http://pinterest.com/pin/200269514650455061/) . My sister saw them, and asked if we could do something similar! So we tried a similar design, but with crushed sea shells :)

August 2012 - Monster Nails!!

Been away on holidays for this past week, and while away my sister asked me to give her these crazy/fun Monster Nails! I also got a chance to do my toes and my own new set of nails, not quite as funky as my sisters, but still fun! Enjoy!

July 26th, 2012 - Tropical Trees and Turtles!

Sorry I haven't put up any pictures lately, haven't had any new designs to show off lately, until tonight! My mom and I brainstormed for awhile deciding what to do for her fill. She dug through my heap of nail art stuff and found my turtle decals, and then I had a couple of colours (Go Green and Copper Crush) that matched perfectly, and made cool palm trees! Ta-Da, we fluked it all into a cool nail design!



July 09th, 2012 - Painted Flowers and Glitter Toes!

I finished my other hand to match my fruity/citrus-y nails on my Right Hand!

I used Atomic Orange, Go Green and Tickled Pink Amore Pixie Gel Colours and some Clay Cane Fruit Decals!

Sort of got my camera working so here's a few updates!

Tickles Pink Tips with Butterfly Decals - These were long nails! My first client that wanted them extended past the first line of the foils, yay!

Three different Pink shades of crushed sea shells!

These are also three different colours of sea shells - light skin toned and some lighter green (hard to spot in the pictures but in real life they look like mermaid tails!!)

Finally, Tango and Calypso tips with some free hand lines - I really really love these! So proud of myself, slowly getting a steadier hand! :D

May 22nd, 2012 - Ladybug Nails

I had some time to myself today, so I gave myself a fill! It's supposed to be lucky when a ladybug lands on you ;)

April 29th, 2012 - Blue Feathers and Pink Sparkles

I haden't gotten to use my blue feathers until the other day! These feathers were quite a bit more finicky than my pink ones, and the client wanted her nails pretty short but I still love the colours of the feathers and think they turned out alright!

Then we have my sisters new set of pink sparkle nails! Usually we like to experiment on her nails, but because today's appointment was so short notice we couldn't think of what to do to them; so we combined a few different small ideas and here we go :)
